Soon time for uni, brain strain, but at least my body wont be this tired?

Factory work makes your body tired, but you brain is sharp and bored silly. Uni destroys your brain, you have to be constantly thinking / worrying while your body turns to utter crap because all the excercise you do is sitting..

After almost 3 months of work, I am now used to the times, and can actually do stuff in the arvo, istead of crashing on my bed, like blog, read, and listen to old records. I am currently listening to Emerson Lake & Palmer - "brain salad surgery" which has a funky version of the old hymn "Jerusalem", which wasnt really a hymn as it doesnt mention anything about God or Jesus, but rather a self glorification towards the english race. I have english ancestry, and I can tell you, its not as good as what its cracked up to be, I cant even play soccer properly, although I was saved from the bad teeth. Uni starts in 2 weeks and with uni comes Worries, stress, monseacs food, and good stuff, friends, den food and C,U (www.campusbibletalks.com.au) Oh well, to whoever reads this, I hope you found it an entertaining 10secs :)

Still at work, too tired to blog, not enough time. Come on uni, save me from this zombiness and help me to have enough time to procrastinate.

Work, hot and sticky

Hot: work is a corrogated iron factory with no insulation in Australian summer.
Sticky: Work with lots and lots of toxic glue.

Man, factory work really sux, the jobs are boring, the environment is crap and all the employees are grumpy old ferals from sunshine (not saying that everyone from sunshine is feral..... well, most are). They are also very rude, crude (man, I thought I came up with some weird discusting stuff, these guys wrote the book) and nasty. But................. the money is clean. (Quoted from my dad's father; a manure hauler) and its good for chaaracter, although I'm glad I will be able to work at something more productive, and in a greater environment. One more week of work and then off to canberra.

Going to the prom

Well, work began this week, and it looks like I'm gonna be real busy. Went to a 21st in the country and met up with all the people from uni. It was really encouraging, and the perfect way to break out of that "exams are everything in life - nothing else exists" mindset to realign with what life is all about, I mean, you forget exams in nabout 3 weeks anyway, Then results come out and its like "Oh yea, thats right, I had exams".

Going to wilsons prom on thursday (perhaps wednesday), gimme a call or send an email if you wanna come, This is usually the time when the extent of university holidays kicks in and I am actually able to relax, update when I get back.

Also, I am going away to the afes NTE in canberra with monash christian union, and then off to aubrey - wodonga (sic) for a (beach) mission. This is a great time, and I hope to learn a lot and serve.

Oh, and Alana still owes me dinner :) :)
